Hasbro Pulse is now offering the Cobra Stinger and Cobra Officer as part of their GI Joe Retro O-Ring Collection. This is the the 4th vehicle offering in the new O-Ring collection, following the Skystriker, Megatron HISS Tank and Bumblebee AWE Striker. This looks like a great offering at an excellent price. Retailing for just $33.99 the Cobra Stinger is pretty much a must buy for any GI Joe fan or GI Joe collector.
The Cobra Stinger was one of my favorite vehicles as a kid. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
A couple of interesting tidbits:
– The Cobra Stinger looks to be shipping in an all cardboard box as opposed to one with a plastic window to show off the driver. Glad to see Hasbro is following through on their commitment to reduce plastic in their packaging.
– The Cobra Stinger Driver now has a name change to Cobra Officer. Both of the characters look the same, wonder why Hasbro changed his name?
– This will be only the second O-Ring Cobra Stinger Driver ever produced.
