Star Trek: The Experience is closing September 1st. This is sad news for me since I was planning a trip to Las Vegas next June to see it. This is also kinda weird timing since there is a new movie coming out in less than a year, which should boost the number of visitors considerably.

Most people have seen Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and even Space Seed. There is more however to Khan’s story. A series of 3 books and another episode of Star Trek. I have read the first 2 books and I enjoyed them, of course I am also a sucker for prequels, and these ones are done pretty well.

Sci-Fi channel has started playing Star Trek: The Next Generation on Monday nights at 7pm EST. They are showing 4 episodes each night. I can’t wait for seasons 5 & 6, those are the best ones. Check out the full schedule here
