River Song

So now that we know who River Song (Melody Pond, get it?) is, there are so many questions. Namely does River Song and The Doctor hook up? Is River Song going to be the next companion? It seems unlikely to me that Amy & Rory are actually going to raise a child on the TARDIS so I really think this will be the last season that Karen Gillan is on the show. Even though I have already stated I want David Tenant and Billie Piper back on Doctor Who I am actually looking forward to River Song being a companion on the show. Hopefully it will happen.

Do you think Amy Pond will remember Rory Williams eventually? I think she will. And I think it will lead to her leaving the Doctor as all companions eventually do. In the Doctor Who episode “Vincent and the Doctor” the doctor and Amy visit Vincent van Gogh and there are many hints about Rory that the Doctor accidentally drops around Amy, and she seems confused each time.
As you may know or maybe you don’t I still want David Tenant & Billie Piper back on the show, but this is the first time I watched almost an entire episode without thinking that the entire time. Guess the writers did a good job.

Doctor Who Stone Angels

I must says I think the stone angels from Doctor Who, which just appeared in the 2 part episodes “The Time of Angels” & “Flesh and Stone” are the scariest Doctor Who villains out there. Sure the Daleks are the arch enemies of the Time Lords, but the stone angels are definitely the scariest.

and bring David Tenant with you. Billie Piper it’s time for you to come back to Doctor Who, it’s been a really long time since you were a series regular, we miss you. While you are at it drag David Tenant back too. You can have the writers to chalk the 11th Doctor up to a bad nightmare, it really doesn’t matter how they do it, just come back to Doctor Who. Billie Piper, you and David Tenant had such great chemistry on Doctor Who together. You need to make it last a few more seasons.

The new season of Doctor Who has started up with Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor. The first episode of the new season, is appropriately called “The Eleventh Hour”. I liked Matt Smith as the Doctor, I liked his new companion Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, I like the story, I liked the new opening credits scene. But I still want David Tennant back. I really don’t think anything will change my mind from that.

Midnight Rose

I know I am way behind in my Doctor Who watching, but Rose was on the latest episode I watched. It was called Midnight. Rose appears 13 seconds into the below clip. Also an interesting to note in this episode, people die from being exposed to the sun, in the 2 previous episodes (Silence in the Library & Forest of the Dead), people died from being in the shadows.

Towards the beginning of the episode “The Poison Sky” when the Doctor was in the Mobile Command Post, he made a call to the Sontarans, the call was also being broadcast on the screen in the TARDIS which Donna was in by herself. Rose flash on the screen in the TARDIS, I am no lip reader so I couldn’t tell what she was saying. Watch it here, Rose appears 5 seconds in.

I been watching Doctor Who since it recently started up again a few years ago. I vaguely remember watching it as a kid, but all I remember is the Doctor running around in caves (I don’t even know if that actually happened) recently however I have actually been liking Torchwood better, especially when James Marsters was on it. Watching the season 4 premiere of “Partners in Crime” I realized more what Doctor Who was missing, he was missing Rose Tyler. She really needs to be back on the show. I was so excited to see her back.
