Here are some questions that did get answered In the Lost episode “Across the Sea” we are introduced to Jacob’s mother, and we find out Jacob and the man in black (who apparently was never given a name) are twin brothers. The lady & the man in black also turn out to be Adam & Eve skeletons from way back in season 1. “The Others” are on the island from real early on, and the Man in black lives with them for 30 years.
