Angry Birds Season has a new update. Rovio just put out a Ham’O'Ween level, bring Angry Birds Season back to its roots with its second Halloween level. Angry Birds Seasons is now showing 2011 Seasons and 2012 Season, so it looks like there will be lots more updates to Angry Birds Seasons to come. There is also a new bird, and orange one this time. If you haven’t yet downloaded Angry Birds Seasons you can do so here for the iPhone or iPad. Rovio released a YouTube video to go along with the new update.

Angry Birds newest level is an ode to NASA. Very fitting since the Space Shuttle Atlantis lifted off today on the final space shuttle mission. The level is available in Angry Birds Seasons in the Summer Pignic Level 1-17. Angry Birds Seasons just released a summer update today. It has 30 levels and you can only play a new one each day. I really like this format (Rovio did it with Christmas too). With only one new level each day it really makes you strive hard to get a really good score. Competition with my friends is very fierce, and score updates are texted throughout the day. So far in level 1 there are pigs in sunglasses and pig shaped clouds. Google just released the Google Translate app for the iPhone. I must say I am very impressed. It has speech to speech translation for many languages. Now you can always find a bathroom in another country. Not all languages are supported, but I am sure they will be adding more soon. I this app a 10 out of 10. Ancestry.com has an app out now called Tree To Go. It is a great little app that provides you access to your family tree, which you can create for free online. It downloads your tree from the server so you can view the tree even with airplane mode turned on (even though it does give you a few pop-ups telling you to check your connection). You cannot create a tree on the iPhone, though I doubt there would really be much need to do so. The only big flaw I do see is that you cannot use trees unless you are the “Owner”. It would make more sense if you had access to the ones you are and “Editor” of. The app does provide access to all the members of you tree and their photos. You can even add photos via the app. This feature would be very nice when visiting relatives you don’t see very often. I highly recommend this app for any genealogy buffs out there.
